Summary

Refuel your passion with a new installment of the Torpedo Ink series by #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan。

While Gedeon "Player" Lazaroff is one of Torpedo Ink motorcycle club's roughest members, he's also one of the calmest。 Little rattles Player, except for the times his gift gets the better of him。 When that happens, he has to just lie down in the dark and hope for the best。 But on a night when he's on the verge of losing it, he meets a woman who manages to soothe his fractured mind。

Zyah is a striking, ethereal beauty who seduces him with every word and move。 Their night together is one of pure, exquisite bliss。 But when Player gets confused and thinks their intimate encounter was nothing more than a dream, his careless dismissal leaves her humiliated and angry。

Now, Player will have to devote his every breath to convincing Zyah to give him a second chance。 Because she might be the only one who can save him from himself。。。。

So good!Another great story with the Torpedo ink men。 Player is a hard one to read about。 He has an unusual talent, or curse。 He is in constant danger from it, and his life is full of pain。 I love the new characters in this book, and how they all are connected into a close community, both in the men, and women from the club, but the other towns people。 The "Trouble" facing Player, and his lady is something totally bizarre。 I was finding it hard to put this one down。 So good!Another great story with the Torpedo ink men。 Player is a hard one to read about。 He has an unusual talent, or curse。 He is in constant danger from it, and his life is full of pain。 I love the new characters in this book, and how they all are connected into a close community, both in the men, and women from the club, but the other towns people。 The "Trouble" facing Player, and his lady is something totally bizarre。 I was finding it hard to put this one down。 。。。more

I love books by Christine Feehan。 This is maybe Player and Zyah's story, but you get to see the little slices of life from the other characters Truly that is one of the best things about this author。 Just because a series may be done doesn't mean that the characters are and I love it。 Player was out for the count for a good portion of this book, so most is focused around Zyah and her day to day life。 This book has most everything。 You have the struggle of relationship, the lost of loved ones and I love books by Christine Feehan。 This is maybe Player and Zyah's story, but you get to see the little slices of life from the other characters Truly that is one of the best things about this author。 Just because a series may be done doesn't mean that the characters are and I love it。 Player was out for the count for a good portion of this book, so most is focused around Zyah and her day to day life。 This book has most everything。 You have the struggle of relationship, the lost of loved ones and trust, but also the finding of those you though you never see again。 It is so sweet。 I can not wait for the next in the Torpedo Ink series。 :) 。。。more

This is a dark series。 Lots of action, but not as much as before。 A bit of mystery。 Lots of communication between characters。

The story is about how Player finds his woman, only to run her off because he thinks he is dreaming her。 It is a good story with lots of action as the club tries to find out who is targeting the elderly in their area。 Zyah and her grandmother are great characters。 There is a little weirdness about a picture that Zyah's grandfather drew and her father made the frame for that will make you blink。 I know all the stuff in these books is weird, but this is a new zip code of strange。 The story is about how Player finds his woman, only to run her off because he thinks he is dreaming her。 It is a good story with lots of action as the club tries to find out who is targeting the elderly in their area。 Zyah and her grandmother are great characters。 There is a little weirdness about a picture that Zyah's grandfather drew and her father made the frame for that will make you blink。 I know all the stuff in these books is weird, but this is a new zip code of strange。 。。。more

Another great book to lose yourself in。I love Christine Feehan's books and the way she can pull you into the story。 I can escape into another time or place for a while。 I am always sad when I finish one of her books and can't start anything else for a bit unless it's the next in the series。 I love the Torpedo Ink series。 This series is edgy and explicit, it's not for the faint of heart。 I am so drawn into the series that I feel the pain for the children they were and the adults they are now。 I l Another great book to lose yourself in。I love Christine Feehan's books and the way she can pull you into the story。 I can escape into another time or place for a while。 I am always sad when I finish one of her books and can't start anything else for a bit unless it's the next in the series。 I love the Torpedo Ink series。 This series is edgy and explicit, it's not for the faint of heart。 I am so drawn into the series that I feel the pain for the children they were and the adults they are now。 I loved reading Player's story and his struggles with the past and trying to find love in a world he barely understands。 I love that her characters have a moral compass that is very very strong and thet they are a tight knit family group。 I love that for all they went through they try to be kind, compassionate, and gentle with their partners。 。。。more

I really enjoyed this book。 While the overall story arc doesn't make a lot of forward progress 。。。 Player & Zyah are amazing。 The insta-lust is full-throttle with them, but in true Torpedo Ink fashion 。。。 Player really messes up。 Throw in the "I'm not good enough for her" and "I want all in from him", it takes a bit to get their train back on the tracks。It starts out with Master & Player trying to get intel on the Ghosts & running into issues。 Trouble at home though switches the clubs attention I really enjoyed this book。 While the overall story arc doesn't make a lot of forward progress 。。。 Player & Zyah are amazing。 The insta-lust is full-throttle with them, but in true Torpedo Ink fashion 。。。 Player really messes up。 Throw in the "I'm not good enough for her" and "I want all in from him", it takes a bit to get their train back on the tracks。It starts out with Master & Player trying to get intel on the Ghosts & running into issues。 Trouble at home though switches the clubs attention to break-ins and elderly beatings, while trying to get the grocery store up and running without Inez (Zyah gets the manager job), and Alena's restaurant is looking for help。It was nice to see them pull in, and work on trouble close to home。 A long-time favorite Drake sister and her store was a wonderful surprise。 I'm really hopeful we'll get more visits with the Drake / Sisters at Heart characters。(view spoiler)[I was a bit confused at the end with the painting。 I'm not sure that's all there was to it。 Player was picking up a LOT of malice off that frame。 (hide spoiler)] 。。。more

Getting better and betterMs。 Feehan has always been a favorite of mine。 The way she combines the magical and practical is outstanding。 The only negative I can say about any of her books is that it takes to long for the next one。 Definitely a 5 star read!

Need more torpedo ink。

A bit weird。I felt his head problems should of been fixed by the end。 Bomb in the pic-weird, was there a point to that storyline at all。The whole lets suffocate her most of the time during oral sex-yuck。 Breathing is so overrated these daysLiked the Hannah and Jonas being in it。 Think I should reread that series, this one is a bit nuts。

Angelina

Just as awesome as the other books in this series! ^。^

My favorite so far, this was very, very good, highly recommended

Tbh, I usually say I wish a book was longer。 This time, I wish it was shorter, it felt like it was dragging。 Literally the only reason I came back to it (because I took a break for like a day) was because I had to return it to the library soon。 It also felt like three stories going on at once, and I kept checking what percentage I was at (e-book)。 It would have been better to be just a little bit shorter, in my opinion

allieereads

I’m giving this 4 stars and not 3。75 because I would then have to change all my ratings for the previous books!I think this might be the ‘best’ one in the series。 Not perfect but definitely better than the last book! Trigger warnings for literally everything。

Absolutely loved this。 Player and Zyah's story。 I loved how this one played out。 The Player caught on right away he messed up with Zyah, was eager to patch things up with her, and because of the unfolding events, and Player's injury, they became permanently connected to each other so much quicker, than they might have otherwise。 And I love that despite all the terrible, horrible things the members of Torpedo Ink experienced as children, they have such love for one another, for the 'wives and ext Absolutely loved this。 Player and Zyah's story。 I loved how this one played out。 The Player caught on right away he messed up with Zyah, was eager to patch things up with her, and because of the unfolding events, and Player's injury, they became permanently connected to each other so much quicker, than they might have otherwise。 And I love that despite all the terrible, horrible things the members of Torpedo Ink experienced as children, they have such love for one another, for the 'wives and extended family members who are brought into their family and are so protected of one another。 。。。more

some to the story felt a little forced, like the author just threw a side story about a drawing just to lengthen the page number。

Great bookI really like this story because the hero & heroine are equal in this book。 Also gave the readers more foresight on what the hero suffered when he younger。 How the heroine was able to help him。 It also explain more how all the Torpedo Ink members became what they are。 Really enjoyed this story。
